This lesson plan is designed to accompany the Fans in the UK video: What do you like about the Premier League?
Materials
• Post-it-notes or cut up a number of small squares of paper (before you watch)
• Copies of students’ worksheet (Activities 1 & 2) See worksheet in downloads
• Copy of game cards (need to cut these up before the lesson) for Activity 3 See lesson plan in downloads
Procedure
Stage 1. Before you watch: (10 minutes)
Stage 2. While you Watch: Activity 1 (20 minutes)
Stage 3. Activity 2 (10-15 minutes)
Stage 4. Post-watching: Activity 3 Game (20-30 minutes)
Stage 5. Activity 4 follow-up writing (20 minutes)
Stage 6. Stimulus Question: (5-10 minutes)
