The Summer Transfer Window is Closed

The Summer Transfer Window is Closed

The summer transfer window has closed and many Premier League players have moved clubs. Some of these players have moved to other Premier League teams but others have said goodbye to the Premier League and moved to a different country. There are also exciting new players that have arrived in the Premier League for the first time. The deadline for transfers was 23:00 on the 1st of September. What happened in the last few days of the transfer window?

Which club waited until the last minute?

Di Maria's transfer is a British recordThe biggest transfer of the window was the midfielder, Angel Di Maria. He has moved to Man Utd from Real Madrid for a British record £59.7 million.  Another big move is Radamel Falcao, who has also signed for The Red Devils. The Colombian international has moved to Old Trafford from Monaco on a season-long loan, but the striker may join on a permanent basis in the summer. Falcao is one of 7 new signings at Manchester United, with many of their transfers made in the last few days of the window. Di Maria and Falcao will be joined at Man Utd by Argentinian defender, Marcos Rojo (£20 million) and Dutch defender, Daley Blind (£13 million) who have joined from Sporting Lisbon and Ajax. One player that is leaving Old Trafford is England international, Danny Welbeck. Welbeck has joined Arsenal on a long-term contract for around £16 million.

Which other teams have been buying and selling?

Balotelli has joined LiverpoolIt's not only Man Utd that have been buying and selling in the last few days of the transfer window. Liverpool have paid AC Milan £16 million for the Italian striker Mario Balotelli. Two Premier League teams broke their transfer record on the last day of the window. Hull City signed the Uruguayan striker, Abel Hernandez for £10 million from Palermo in Italy and Crystal Palace signed the midfielder James McArther for around £7 million.

Alexandre Song has signed for West HamNot every team spent money in the last few hours of the transfer window, but many clubs made a loan signing or two. West Ham have signed the ex-Arsenal midfielder, Alexandre Song from Barcelona, Sunderland signed the Argentinian midfielder, Ricky Alvarez from Inter Milan and Stoke City have got Oussama Assaidi from Liverpool on a season-long loan.

Samuel Eto'o has signed for EvertonAnd some players are signed on a permanent basis and don't cost a penny. Leicester City have signed Esteban Cambiasso from Inter Milan on a free transfer. Cambiasso made over 300 apeearances for Inter and has won the Champions League and 5 Italian league titles. And Everton have signed Samuel Eto'o, who was a free agent after leaving Chelsea at the end of last season.

What will happen?

Now that I saw everything happened, I think none of them were good acquisitions to their clubs.
But Man Utd have searched for the best names, certainly.
I think the best business is that returns you in terms of money or perfrmance gains. If a club can spent less money doing that, the better!

I thought he was Angel Di Maria but he disappointed all of us United fans. He was one of the most unsuccessful deals in the club's history.
I thought Manchester United but I was wrong.
I think buying is much better to get the player's full focus and attention for his new club.

Buying players is better with the hope that they get better as the season goes on and possibly sell them later.

I think that Arsenal is going to buy some new defenders in this winter transfer window if they want to compete both for the CL and PL trophies.

If you want to make a good result then it is better to buy a player. It takes time to build a team for the highest performances.

As my opinion Di Maria is the best buy plaer in this season i am shure he will help Red Devils to come back to the the top & he will be as walker for Louis .

Of course depend to finantial condition of the Club to buy direct or get a player on loan and depend to function of the player on new team .

1. Di maria and Falcao are class act players.I wouldn't rate one behind the other. Both of them are in the same level.Di maria comes from having a sparkling performance in Real Madrid and his national team in the word cup.So far I can't get over how Di maria was left by Real Madrid because he was the key player to win the champions league.Without a doubt Madrid didn't value his job.I'm lost to words about Falcao. From my point of view He and Luis Suarez are the best strikers.
2. Indeed,Manchester United.
3.It doesn't matter. Then they can be bought up next Summer.

Do you think Falcao will be the same player after nearly a year out because of his knee injury?
