I started to learn English in the middle school at the age of twelve.In my country teaching material and methods used to be inappropriate to learn then. I think language lab must be part of this activity.After scool language learning efforts should be continued without interruption as a hobby. These days I've been learning Arabic as well as English.

I started to learn English at school since I was about 5.
The best age to start learning is the early ages to practice the language beside your mother tongue and grow up as a bilingual person.
It will definitely help you in your future job hunting and communication with foreigners.
