On the way to the match: Part 1
On the way to the match is a new type of collaborative and interactive audio lesson to help you develop your English skills. Jack and Rich are on the way to the match but something happens to stop them. What has happened? You have to decide!
This is part one and you have to develop the story in the comments section at the bottom of the page. We will read all the comments, suggestions and ideas and choose from them when we record part two of the story next week.

Jack: Hi there. My name’s Jack.
Rich: And my name’s Rich and welcome to our new interactive audio series called ‘On the way to the match’ on Premier Skills English.
Jack: On the way to match is a new type of audio lesson which gives all of our listeners the chance to choose where Rich and I go and what we do.
Rich: Each story will start with me and Jack in the car on the way to a football match but something will happen to stop us getting there.
Jack: What will happen, Rich?
Rich: I don’t know, Jack. That is for our listeners to decide. You will choose what happens to us, you will decide what we do and where we go in every episode.
Jack: How will our listeners decide?
Rich: We want you to write the story. Tell us your ideas and make suggestions in the comments section on the Premier Skills English website. We will try to include all the best ideas and the story will continue in the next episode.
Jack: How long will each story be?
Rich: We think each story will be 5 or 6 episodes long and you, our listeners, have to develop the story and make sure there is a good ending, a funny ending, a happy ending or a very exciting ending.
Jack: And anything can happen?
Rich: Anything can happen.
Jack: These audio lessons give you the chance to be creative in English as each story develops. All ideas are welcome.
Rich: And you will use more complex language with other listeners in the comments section. It should be fun.
Jack: It will be fun. I’m really looking forward to hearing our listeners’ ideas. Here’s episode one.
ON THE WAY TO THE MATCH
Rich: Hey, Jack. Come on, get in. Sorry, I’m a bit late. Is it raining out there?
Jack: Just spitting. I forgot my umbrella.
Rich: You can’t take your umbrella to the match anyway.
Jack: I suppose not. I’ve been waiting all week for this match. Chelsea is always a big one.
Rich: Yeah, I’ve got a good feeling about this.
Jack: Have you got your lucky socks on?
Rich: I always wear my lucky socks on match days!
Jack: This rain is getting worse.
Rich: Can you get that for me, Jack?
Jack: Sure.
Jack: Oh, right, Yes, really. Oh no. Does he have to? Now? OK, bye.
Rich: Who was it?
Jack: You’re not going to believe this ...
Rich: Is that it?
Jack: Yes, that’s episode one. Now it’s our listeners turn. We want you to decide what happens next.
Rich: Who was on the phone?
Jack: I don’t know. Our listeners need to tell us.
Rich: What did he or she want?
Jack: I don’t know. Our listeners need to tell us.
Rich: Do you think it was good news or bad news? Will it stop us from going to the match?
Jack: I don’t know that either. Our listeners need to let us know.
Rich: OK, so we want to hear from all of you. Who was on the phone and what did they want? Let us know all your ideas in the comments section on the Premier Skills English website.

Jack: was your neighbour.
Rich: Really, what did he want?
Jack: He said me that your garage is flooded, the level of water is hight but, wait, he said as well that your mountain bike was stolen, he saw two men leaving the garage with your bicycle.
Rich: Are you joking, come on tell me what happened, who was calling?
Jack: Rich that's true, was all your neighbour said me. What do we do?
Rich: I've looking forward for this match, the tickets were very expensive, but, I don't know what can I do. Give me one moment, I'm going to stop here, I need to make a call.
Dial the phone, (sounds of the calling) Hey Tom, I'm Rich, you called me 5 min ago, what happened in my garage? (Tom answer Rich). Tom I´m on my way to important meeting, I need a favor, can you calling the fire-fighters, I will try to come back to there in about one hour and half, meanwhile you can close the door, I'll call the police to report the stolen; this is an important day to me. I'm sure you can help me with that. (Tom say to Rich, that will be ok, don’t worry).
Jack: Rich, Are you talking seriously? Is your garage flooded and you said to Tom, you are on your way to an important meeting? That's great you are the best. Come on, this will be the better match of the season.

He didn't think it twice, so they pick up Rich and before that they headed to Stanford Brigbe. In gratitude, Mount invite him to all Chelsea's games and at the end of the game he gift them his jersey from him.

Actually in the story, the one with the call and Rich are brothers, the two planned to go to see the game with the tickets that Chelsea found, the brother gets sick and says that he will not be able to go to the game but Jack has a friend who can solve and do make brother feel better. Rich starts to get a little angry, because his brother his brother cannot accompany him to the game and arrive late, his team is still losing with the socks that Rich says are lucky. Perhaps the problem is the banished stadium.
