Fantasy Football - Gameweek 7

The Team

Gameweek 6 finished with 48 points for the Premier Skills team on the Premier League's official Fantasy Football game. You made some big decisions last week and the biggest worked very well. You decided to buy Manchester City's Sergio Aguero for a second time and he scored 13 points. Maybe next week we should choose Aguero as captain. He seems to score all the time! Last week, we chose Zlatan Ibrahimovic as our captain but he only managed 4 points. Maybe it is time to give the armband to a different player. What do you think? Every week, you choose the teamselect the captain (double points) and nominate players to sell and buy. In the Premier Skills League, we are in mid-table place with 279 points. Congratulations to Robotics managed by Abhay Airan  from India who is currently top of the Premier Skills League with 341 points. How is your team doing?

This was our starting XI for Gameweek 6:

The Votes

Last week, we made a double transfer and you voted to sell Eden Hazard and Alvaro Negredo and buy Sergio Aguero and Etienne Capoue. This week, we have one major injury worry. Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne is injured and looks like he will miss this weekend's matches. Should we sell him or not? In this week's vote, decide if we should sell De Bruyne or not and decide who should replace him. The only player we can't buy is Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez - he is too expensive! When you have chosen, select the captain you want to see this week. The vote is at the bottom of this page.

The Debate

We want you to tell us who you think should be in the Premier Skills English Fantasy Football team and squad. We also want to hear about your Fantasy Football team and the players you've chosen. So, leave a comment below and say which players you think we should sell and which players we should buy plus any other questions or comments you have about Fantasy Football. Take a look at the transfer list on the Fantasy Football website to help you make your decision.

Kevin De Bruyne is an injury doubt. Should we sell him this week?.

Do you want to read and listen at the same time?

Rich: Rich here. Welcome to our fantasy football discussion points. Jack and I are here to talk about the Premier Skills Fantasy Football team and the players that you think are right for the team.

Jack: 48 points in Gameweek 6 for the Premier Skills team. This was a pretty good week for our team again, so well done everybody.

Rich: But we still need your help to improve the team. Let’s take a look at what happened to the Premier Skills team this week. Let’s take a look at the good, the bad and the ugly!

Jack: Yes, first the good. Our listeners got lots of things right last week. They brought Sergio Aguero back into the squad and he scored twice.

Rich: And Kevin De Bruyne, Dusan Tadic and Marcus Rashford all scored for the Premier Skills team!

Jack: The bad is that defending is still a problem. No clean sheets again last week. But this is a problem for all fantasy football managers. Only Arsenal Bournemouth and Southampton kept a clean sheet last week.

Rich: Maybe we need to look for some defenders that can score instead of defend. It might get us a few more points. What about the ugly?

Jack: The ugly is our choice of captain. Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t get a goal or an assist even though Manchester Utd eat Leicester 4-1. That's three of the last four Premier League games without a goal for Zlatan.

Rich: Do you think it’s time to change our captain?

Jack: It’s something for our listeners to think about. Maybe Aguero will score more points.

Rich: Remember our listeners make the decision in the vote at the bottom of the page.

Jack: Right, what about the Premier Skills League?

Rich: We have a new leader on 341 points. The team is Robotics and is managed by Abhay Airan from India. Well done to Abhay Airan!

Jack: I see that you had another good week, Rich?

Rich: Yes, I had Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho as my captain and he got me 28 points. I also had Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez 14 points. I’m pretty pleased with that. But I had Zlatan too. I’m thinking about selling him this week. I’m not sure.

Jack: The Premier Skills team is still in mid-table but we are starting to score more points so it would be good to see us climbing the table.

Rich: What about your team, Jack? You said last week that you were going to start climbing the table.

Jack: Ahhh yes. I thought you would be nice and not ask. I made a terrible mistake last week.

Rich: Was it only scoring 28 points?

Jack: Ha ha. No. I missed the deadline.

Rich: Oh dear. You need to remember to change your team before the deadline.

Jack: I know. It was a bit of a disaster but this week everything will be better. I’m sure.

Rich: Well I will remind you and everyone now. Everton v Crystal Palace kicks off on Friday this week so the deadline is Friday at 1900 UK time. That’s one hour before kick off.

Jack: Thanks, I’ll remember this week!

Rich: Right, this week. We have one important decision to make. Kevin De Bruyne is a big injury doubt for this weekend’s matches. He has hurt his hamstring and he could be out for four weeks.

Jack: That’s a pity. He was the top scorer for the Premier Skills team and has been playing really well for City recently.

Rich: I know. So, we need to make two decisions. The first is: Should we sell Kevin De Bruyne?

Jack: It’s not an easy decision. If he’s out for four weeks it’s a long time to sit on the substitute bench and not play. And the second decision is, if we decide to sell him, who should we buy to replace him?

Rich: We can buy any midfielder apart from Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. He is too expensive.

Jack: So, that is your vote this week. Make your choices in the vote below and don’t forget to choose your captain, too!

Rich: Remember! We want to hear from you! How did your team do last weekend? What changes are you going to make? Are you happy with your team?

Jack: We’ve got this week’s matches on the side of the page to help you make your decisions.

Rich: And, use the comments section to discuss the Premier Skills team. Which players do you think we should move out of the squad and which players should we buy?

Jack: Remember, you can register your own team on the fantasy football website and join the Premier Skills League at any time. I’ve added the link and the code you need at the bottom of the page.

Gameweek 7 - To sell, or not to sell?

This week, we have a big decision to make. One of our best players, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, is injured. It's your decision to sell him or not.

If you decide to sell, select a player to replace him from the list or tell us the player you think we should buy. We can buy any midfielder apart from Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez - he is too expensive!

When you've finished, choose the player that you think should be captain this week. The captain scores double points for the team.

Don't forget to tell us how your Fantasy Football team is doing in the comments section!

Four weeks are too much time to have a injury player. You can sell him during this time and whole try with other player like Mesut Ozil.
In the other hand I've managed 56 points this week. The truth I'm very happy by the two last weeks of my players because I'm climbing in the table.
Good luck for the next weekend! Jack remember that the deadline is Friday at 19.00! Hahaha
