FPL - Gameweek 14

FPL - Gameweek 14

The Team

Gameweek 13 finished with 36 points for the Premier Skills team on the Premier League's official Fantasy Football game. Last week, we sold Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez and Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta and bought Chelsea's David Luiz and Tottenham's Heung Min Son. Our new players only got 3 points between them last week, let's hope they score more points in the next few weeks! Romelu Lukaku was our choice of captain but he only scored a very disappointing 2 points. In the Premier Skills League, we moved down to 42nd place with 561 points. Congratulations to Los 11 Impostores managed by Gerardo Lopez from Mexico who moves back to the itop of the Premier Skills League with 741 points. How is your team doing?

This was our starting XI for Gameweek 13:

The Votes

This week, we have are changing one midfielder. It's time for Southampton's Dusan Tadic to leave the team. He hasn't scored many points and has also been injured recently. We have given you three options in this week's vote to choose Tadic's replacement. Choose one of the three or decide not to replace Tadic. It's up to you!  Don't forget to choose this week's captain. Last week you chose Romelu Lukaku but he only got us 4 points! The votes are at the bottom of this page.

Is it easier if you listen and read?

Rich: Rich here. How’s your Fantasy Premier League team doing? The Premier Skills team had a difficult week. We scored 36 points!

Jack: That’s 10 points below average. Our transfers didn’t work out last week.

Rich: You voted to buy Tottenham’s Heung Min Son and Chelsea’s David Luiz but they only got 3 points between them.

Jack: A bit unlucky really because they are both good players and have scored lots of points for fantasy Premier League team owners this season.

Rich: Yes, I agree. I think they are good choices for the team and over the next few weeks they will score more points.

Jack: That’s the difficulty with Fantasy Premier LEague - you never know what will happen. We sold Riyad Mahrez last week - he scored and we drop Sergio Aguero as captain and he scores twice.

Rich: I know! I chose Philippe Coutinho as my captain last week and after about 20 minutes he got stretchered off! Terrible luck for my fantasy premier league team!

Jack: And Liverpool and Coutinho, too!

Rich: Yes, it looks like he will be out of action for a month or two. I’m going to play my wildcard this week.

Jack: What’s that?

Rich: Twice a season you can make as many transfers as you want for free. I’m going to change my entire side. I’m going to pick as many top strikers and midfielders as I can and then go with cheap defenders and goalkeepers.

Jack: OK, tell us what team you pick next week and then we will start to think about a wildcard for the Premier Skills team. Next week maybe?

Rich: Sounds like a good plan. So, this week we want to make just one transfer. I think it’s time to say bye bye to Southampton’s Dusan Tadic.

Jack: Yeah, he hasn’t got too many points and he’s injured. So that’s this week’s vote who will replace Tadic?

Rich: You can choose from three players - Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson, Liverpool’s James Milner and Chelsea’s Pedro.

Jack: I would pick Pedro - he’s been looking good at Chelsea and scored against Spurs last week.

Rich: Sigurdsson is Swansea’s best player but I would pick Milner. Liverpool get a lot of penalties and he’s the penalty taker.

Jack: Let’s see what our listeners decide in the vote at the bottom of the page. And don’t forget to choose this week’s captain.

Rich: We chose Lukaku last week - bad move, no goals and just 2 points!

JAck: Let’s see if we can get the Premier Skills up the Premier Skills table - we’re in 42nd place And let’s see if Rich can move up from 28th after his wildcard!

Rich: JAck doesn’t want to talk about where he is in the league but if you take a look at the legue table promise not to laugh at him in the comments section below!

Jack: Very funny and finally congratulations to Los 11 impostores from Mexico who have moved back to the top of the Premier Skills league table after scoring 72 points last week!

Rich: We would also love to hear what you like about Fantasy Premier League. Just write your opinions in the comments section at the bottom of the page.

Jack: We’ll be back next week with more Fantasy Premier League.

Hmm the fantasy can get frustrating at a point. I was 40th by game week 12 and dropped to 48th position by the end of game week 13.
Am currently on the 44th position after game week 14.
Up and down movements. I hope not to go down again.
