Manchester was formed in 1880 but was originally called Newton Heath and played in green and yellow before they were renamed Manchester Utd in 1902 and then moved to Old Trafford in 1909. United have played in the top division for most of their history and they have only played one season (1974/75) in the second division in the last eighty years. United have won more trophies than any other club in English football. Here are the highlights:

I don't see man utd as a big team , even when they were under sir Alex because they only won the triple once ,and the champions league only at that time , locally in the premier league maybe they are big but European I don't think so .

Is it real man utd fans want Jose !!!! You deserve him and he deserves to be in a classy and big team like this . However I'm fed up of his boring defensive style ,but I think if he gets the players he wants , he'll change his tactics . Like what he did in his first term in Chelsea when he led the table from the first day .

Glory, glory Man.United..What a team it was for decades. While, we could have expected that it won't be the same when Ferguson left club. But, I expect them to fight for the title again. Even now red devils are dangerous though Old Traford is not unconquerable fortress anymore.

I clearly remember the day when Man.Utd won Champions League against Bayern Munich. Teddy and Ole Gunar turned out to be the right players to get in the match from the bench. OMG, when only I remember that match. Me and my bother couldn't believe what we were watching. For the first time in the history of football german players fell asleep few minutes too early.
