A new hero at Old Trafford!
Manchester Utd's new teenage striker, Anthony Martial, has got off to a flying start to life with the Premier League club. The 19-year-old has now scored four goals in his first four matches and could be the solution to Manchester Utd's scoring problems this season. Before Martial's arrival, the Red Devils had scored only three goals in their first four Premier League matches. They've now scored six in their last two! Martial scored his debut goal for Manchester Utd with his very first shot. He came on as a substitute against Liverpool, and a few minutes later went past a couple of Liverpool defenders and put a composed finish past the goalkeeper. A goal against Liverpool meant the striker became an instant hero. A week later, Martial started his first match for Man Utd and scored twice against Southampton. Both goals were good finishes and gave United a 3-2 away win. Martial scored again a few days later to make it 4 goals in 4 games. He came off the bench to score the final goal in a 3-0 win in the League Cup against Ipswich Town. Man Utd are now up to second place in the Premier League, and with their new striker scoring goals, maybe United will have the firepower to win the title this season.
"Anthony Martial is already special because we paid a lot of money for him. A lot of people are thinking he is a great star but he is a boy of 19." Manchester Utd manager, Louis van Gaal.
What do we know about Anthony Martial?
Anthony Martial was born on 5 December 1995 in Massy, which is an area in the south of the French capital, Paris. He started his professional career with Lyon and made his debut in a Europa League game, a day after his 17th birthday. He played only two more matches for Lyon, before he moved to AS Monaco in the summer of 2013. He made 68 appearances for Monaco and scored 15 goals, but many of his appearances came as a substitute. On September 1st 2015, Martial made a sensational move to Manchester Utd and at the same time became the most expensive teenager in world football. The signing was a complete surprise to fans and journalists, and even Manchester Utd's captain, Wayne Rooney, who wasn't sure who the new striker was. Rooney had to ask Martial's international teammate, Man Utd midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, for information about the new teenage striker!

Are there many teenagers in the Premier League?
When Anthony Martial signed for Manchester Utd he became the most expensive teenager in world football. Martial's transfer fee was £36 million but could rise to £58 million, depending on how well he performs. Martial is not the first teenage star of the Premier League however, Martial's teammate, Luke Shaw made his debut for Southampton when he was just 16, and cost Man Utd around £30 million in 2014. He was having a great season until he broke his leg a few weeks ago against PSV in the Champions League. Wayne Rooney was also a Premier League star as a teenager, he made his debut for Everton when he was just 16 and moved to Manchester Utd when he was only 19. Raheem Sterling is another player who made a name for himself at an early age. Sterling made his debut for Liverpool when he was 17 and made a multi-million pound move to Manchester City this summer.

Unfortunately Martial couldn't manage to keep higher performances throughout the years spent at the Premier League and Man Utd.
There are Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, as well as many other Arsenal's culture of signing young players.
The first worry that comes in my mind is to be rich just at eraly ages. It could make people unfoccus or working at the minimum.

I think that Martial is a new world star, but now Van Gaal isnt useful use his player. In my opinion. Anthony should play spearhead like Rooney. but Van Gaal use him as winger. I dont agree with him

Martial is a good player for the last few years. He just exploded in Monaco. I don't think that he could become a top scorer but he's definitely a good player.

I don't think he will be the top scorer because he is still too young and his opponents are very strong. But I believe he can at the top scorers list.

Man Utd have James Wilson and Andreas Pereira, Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Kenedy are sometimes given a chance to play in matches, in Liverpool we can watch Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez who's only 17. West Ham's Reece Oxford is one of the youngest players to have made their debut in a PL match. And today I had the opportunity to watch Tottenham's Dele Alli who performed quite well. All of them are very talented and, like Rema wrote, if they continue with hard work then they are going to be an important part of their teams in the future. But there are some disadvantages to being so successful at such early age. For example young players sometimes start to believe too soon that they are the best in the World and deserve to play in every match and earn big money. I remember the situation of Ravel Morrison who had a huge potential but because of his bad behaviour and arrogancy Ferguson let him leave the club. Balotelli was also already succesful as a teenager but in Liverpool he preferred to be a celebrity rather than to help his team.

I was very sceptical about Martial as well as you Rema, although I shouldn't have since I'm a Man Utd fan and my duty is to support and believe in every player who plays for my favourite club. But this was caused by the fact that I only saw this huge amount of money United paid for him, not his skills. Now he has scored 4 goals in 4 matches and he's already did more for the team than Falcao within the whole last season. His maturity on the pitch and composure when he scores a goal really impress me. Rooney in his current form can't even shoot on goal properly. If favorites for the PL Golden Boot like Diego Costa or Sergio Agüero don't start scoring regularly it is possible that Anthony may end up as Premier League top scorer. It would be a sensational thing since not many people believed that he would even acclimate to English football.

If any of successful teenagers, something similar with Martial, continued with hard work they certainly must success(in case to exception injury). But if they choose another wrong path, in that case I think that they doesn't fill expectation.

Now I see that I was wrong. Martial is already great and certainly presents future of world football. His movement on the pitch I could compare with butterfly movements. I don't know much about other teenagers but I'm sure there are many, but none of them as fantastic as Martial.
